1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

In addition to information you provide directly through our website or application, we may collect information you send to us via email. When you or a third party reply to an email sent from Birdmouth (including suppliers who have not yet created a Birdmouth account), we may collect and process the contents of the email, including any attachments. Attachments may include documents such as quotes, orders, or other materials related to your business.
These emails and attachments are processed through secure third-party providers, including Cloudflare (for secure file upload and conversion), Render.com (for file preparation and processing), and OpenAI (for document parsing and structured data extraction). The results of these processes are stored within Birdmouth’s application database (Bubble) for the purpose of facilitating communication, quotes, and orders between builders and suppliers.
By replying to an email sent from Birdmouth, you authorize Birdmouth and its service providers to receive, process, and store the contents of your message and attachments for the purpose of providing its Services.

We process inbound email data (including attachments) to extract relevant information such as quote numbers, totals, and expiration dates, in order to maintain communication threads, populate project records, and improve the accuracy of our Services.

Some processing (such as through OpenAI and Render.com) may involve transfers to the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place consistent with applicable data protection laws.
In Short: We may transfer, store, and process your information in countries other than your own.
Our servers are located in the United States. If you are accessing our Services from outside, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored by, and processed by us in our facilities and in the facilities of the third parties with whom we may share your personal information (see "WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?" above), in and other countries.

In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to children under 18 years of age, nor do we knowingly sell such personal information. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the Services. Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. However, we may retain some information in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our legal terms and/or comply with applicable legal requirements.
9. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy.
10. DO WE MAKE UPDATES TO THIS POLICY?
